Edema control (swelling of the legs)
Hip extensor strengthening - bilateral or unilateral (includes gluteal strengthening)
Pressure relief: Active -lift buttocks for pressure relief at sacrum
Passive- heel pressure relief
Knee extension- Use under lower leg for gravity assisted knee straightening
Ankle range-of-motion
Isometric or isotonic quad strengthening
Use with or without ankle weights
Amputee pressure relief and hip extensor strengthening
Alternate positioning for edema control or back pain
